Diplomas, certificates, and professional credits

Nexiel issues Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes (QEAA) that satisfy eIDAS 2 regulations. Replace PDF diplomas with cryptographically signed verifiable credentials delivered straight into the student’s EUDI Wallet.

• Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes (QEAA) issued under eIDAS 2 are cryptographically signed and tamper-proof.
• Universities control issuance from a secure dashboard or API, no PDF diplomas or manual email attachments.
• Students store credentials in their EUDI Wallet and selectively disclose only what a verifier needs (e.g., degree title, graduation year).

What is QEAA and why should my university care?

Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes are the eIDAS 2 standard for official attribute proofs (e.g., diplomas, degrees). Issuing QEAA credentials ensures your graduates have portable, government-recognised digital proof that verifiers can trust instantly.

Can we issue both student IDs and diplomas from the same tenant?

Yes. Each credential template (student ID, staff ID, diploma, alumni card) can live under the same tenant with separate retention and revocation policies.

How do verifiers read these credentials?

Any EUDI-compliant verifier (NFC reader, QR scanner, or API) can ingest the presentation. Nexiel also provides a React component, kiosk SDK, and hardware partner integrations for doors, turnstiles, and POS units.

What about privacy?

Selective disclosure ensures verifiers only see the attributes they request. A gym door can check membership validity without seeing name or email; a campus lab can request programme + expiry but nothing else.
